Is it just me or are we still a bit young for me to think that the world is going under? I mean, when I was a kid, gas was under .80 cents per truckload. Video games were about the wholesome past time of shooting the shit out of aliens, punching out Mike Tyson, or saving the princess and not hooking up with whores and wrecking cars all over LA/Miami/exotic location. And we walked uphill both ways to and from class in college.
Seriously, the country is going to hell in a handbasket.
And by the way, you can save on energy costs (see: 'undependence' on oil) by not being such wasteful Ami-swine... get a Smartcar and a bicycle, shower with cold water, cook with a fire, open the window to let in some fresh air and freeze your asses off in winter like the rest of the world. Pansies.
